Maria Danae Reid has had an affinity for art from a young age. She loves working with acrylic paints, oil pastels, and oven-baked clay. She brings the joy of art to others, including children and is happy to be an art instructor this year for Creative Arts Academy. Maria specializes in paint nights, face painting, and creating custom designs on personal items. Her work has been featured in ARISE’s UNIQUE Art and Literary Magazine. Maria graduated in 2022 with a degree in Art & Design from Buffalo State University. While attending university she experimented with fiber art and discovered a love for working with fabric. She has previously showcased some of her fiber art pieces here at Community Folk Art Center.
