Habibatou Traore is originally from Mali, West Africa, and was born and raised in Harlem and the Bronx, New York. She is a member of the Class of 2027, majoring in Sociology. Habibatou has been a semi-professional dancer for the past 12 years, performing with her high school, Promise Academy II, as well as the dance company Forces of Nature. Outside of dance, she enjoys cooking and baking and loves exploring new restaurants.
