Charles Haislah is the founder and director of DanceLAB, a program of the Creative Arts Academy at the Community Folk Art Center (CFAC) and also teaches adult classes. Haislah, a classical ballet technique coach, is dedicated to diversity and excellence in dance education. His dance studies began in his hometown of Long Beach, California at age eight.
Haislah completed training at the San Francisco Ballet School in 1991 under the mentorship of the San Francisco Ballet school in 1991 under the mentorship of the San Francisco Ballet Principal, the late Christopher Boatright. His ballet career continued in Europe with distinguished companies, including Ballet Am Rhien-Duesseldorf, Bavarian State Ballet, and Vienna State Opera Ballet. He served as Director of Dance and Music at the Danube International School in Vienna, Austria.
