Berny Williford has served as the piano instructor at Community Folk Art Center for nearly three years. He is a multi-instrumentalist , and works with several local bands in the Syracuse area and is the Minister of music for the Salvation Army Citadel. He is a graduate of Eastern Illinois University, and former jazz band member. Williford has a long history of musical experience, which include doing sound reinforcement in New York City during the Harlem week festivities for artists like Earth Wind & Fire and Parliament-Funkadelic just for starters! He welcomes any and everyone who is interested in music, to attend the CFAC beginning piano courses, and will be looking forward to passing on his musical expertise to beginners who want to learn more about the world of music.
