The Community Folk Art Center (CFAC) invites artists to apply for the 2027 Artist in Residence Program, Rooted & Rising, made possible by the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA). Rooted & Rising supports four multidisciplinary artists over a six-week period. Artist stipend: $4,550 per selected artist. This non-residential residency supports artists working in a traditional, contemporary, or hybrid folk and community-based art forms . This residency provides time, space, resources, and opportunities to create, share, and connect with our community.
